Bomil's old gay bar district has apparently relocated east of the main street due to redevelopment. ROCK's owner is now running a shop in Seoul. As mentioned below, TOOL has changed its name to Banana. According to the owner, Busan's clientele varies by establishment: ・Banana: Ordinary types in their 30s-40s ・KUMA (now renamed Black Bear): Bear types
・NIX, now Close, caters to young, slim guys with bangs. Both places have no cover charge, just drink prices, and accept cards. There are also drag clubs, karaoke bars, and soju bars that get lively on weekends. The manager here speaks Japanese and English, making communication easy. It might have been quieter since it was a weekday off-peak. Thanks for the friendly and helpful info.

The master speaks a little Japanese and English, so it is easy to go alone. It is currently relocated due to development. It is called Banana on the third floor of the building next to Hattenba K on the other side of the road.

I visited on Saturday, November 23, after 10 p.m. One person in his 30s, one person in his 40s and his female friend, and one person in his 40s came to the restaurant after me. The mother kindly spoke to us in Japanese, though she spoke only a few words. The 40-something man could speak Japanese quite well, which made the conversation more enjoyable for everyone.
I went there based on the other postings, but I found the same atmosphere with the mom and the store that I could spend time there alone as well.
