I visited during the Dragon Boat Festival long weekend, and the place was lively and packed. It was interesting to hear seniors singing Japanese *enka* and classic pop songs in the basement karaoke rooms, while the facility's background music featured slightly older J-Pop hits by artists like Remioromen and Mika Nakashima. It was a refreshing change from a sauna I visited previously in Taipei, which played nothing but K-Pop.
It was midday with temperatures exceeding 30°C, so I was drenched in sweat while changing clothes. A man who looked like a regular customer picked up my polo shirt and briskly walked off with it—saying he would wash and dry it for me. Although I felt a moment of anxiety, I was truly impressed when he actually returned it fully dried.
While I was cooling off in a theater-like room on the second floor, a senior citizen struck up a conversation and taught me various things in Chinese. Apparently, on weekends and holidays, it starts getting crowded after lunch, people begin leaving in the evening, and it quiets down at night. It seems like a good plan to grab a bite to eat in Ximending before entering, enjoy the facilities until evening, and then head home.
You can leave the facility to have a meal and then re-enter; the reception staff are used to this, so if you explain—even in English—that you want to go out to eat and come back, they will hold onto your locker key for you.
When I spoke Chinese at the locker area, I was mistaken for a Hong Konger, but once I explained I was Japanese, quite a few people struck up conversations with me; I got the impression that many Taiwanese people feel a sense of affinity toward the Japanese.
Since it is open 24 hours a day, I thought it would also be a great place to kill time if you have a late-night flight home.

I entered the facility from midday on a weekday. Despite heavy rain starting shortly after I entered (due to the rainy season), it was quite crowded by just after 2 PM. On weekends and holidays, a 24-hour stay costs 400 TWD, but on weekdays, it's 250 TWD until midnight on the day of entry. There are karaoke rooms, an adult video viewing room, and several private rooms in the basement, so you can find someone you like in the shower area or sauna and enjoy yourself in a private room, combining them with the private rooms on the second floor.
After entering, a bear-like man washing himself in the shower room struck up a conversation in the main room, and we enjoyed ourselves in the adjacent private room. He had studied in Japan and could speak some Japanese, mixing it with Chinese, and taught me various things. He had many local acquaintances and introduced me to several people, allowing me to relax and enjoy the facility. Many people use it after work, so it might be a good idea to visit in the evening.

I entered the facility on a Sunday afternoon. It's conveniently located in the northern part of Ximending. Upon opening the entrance door, I paid 400 Taiwanese dollars at the counter and received two sets of towels and a locker key. Since it was my first visit, I mentioned this, and despite the crowd, they kindly guided me around.
Compared to the nearby Grand Shanghai Sauna, the flow of movement is more inconvenient, involving frequent use of stairs between floors, and the corridors are narrower. The locker area also has benches in the middle on both sides, so during busy times, you need to patiently wait to pass through. While the facilities show their age, it's still a comfortable place to relax and watch movies in the reclining seats. Using the sauna as a break is also a good option. The sauna itself is reasonably spacious, and people are actively going in and out, enjoying themselves. The floor in the shower and sauna area is slippery if you're barefoot, so although Taiwanese toilet sandals are provided in the lockers, it's probably best to bring your own. White and blue sandals are sold at almost any convenience store.
The staff cleans diligently, so although the facilities are old, they are kept clean. The clientele seemed to be mostly people in their 50s or older, with a few younger people who seemed to prefer older people. It was a different impression from Da Shanghai San Wen Nuan, where regulars used the lounge as a salon, bringing food and drinks to share. Both have their own atmosphere, so I think it's best to visit and enjoy them.

It wasn't as clean as some of the gay cruising spots in Japan, but it was clean.
The receptionist was also very kind and explained things to me in broken Japanese.
I received two keys (one for the locker and one for the lock) at the counter on the first floor, changed, and then washed myself in the spacious shower room on the second floor. I then looked around the mist room (brightly lit), private shower rooms, toilets, etc. While I was in the high-temperature sauna, a slightly overweight man in his 50s, who was exactly my type, came in and started doing exercises, which surprised me. His dance-like exercises made my groin hot, and when I saw him go into a private room at the back of the video room on the second floor, I followed him in and took my time thoroughly fucking him.
There were also private rooms, an erotic video room, a karaoke room, and a relaxation room in the basement, and I think I could have enjoyed them even more if I had more time.
Afterward, we showered together, said goodbye, and I went home.
With no language worries, I would definitely like to go again.

I visited this place during my first trip to Taiwan. It had a three-story structure consisting of a basement, basement, and second floor. The basement housed the reception, changing rooms, rest area, and a discreet cruising area. The second floor had a bathroom, three saunas, a theater room, and about 10 private rooms. The basement had a karaoke room, an adult theater room, and about 10 private rooms.
The spacious bathroom even had a bed where people could get massages completely naked. The saunas were available in small (5 people), medium (10 people), and large (25 people), with varying temperatures. The private rooms had fluorescent lights that could be dimmed or brightened with a switch. You could choose to sleep in or not, whichever you prefer.
I went on two different days, during the day and at night, and the daytime was by far more crowded. There were about 30 people in their 50s and 60s, 10 people in their 70s and above, and about 20 people under 40. Not many people were using the private rooms, and it seemed like people were just casually hanging out in the sauna.
The nighttime crowds were about half the size of the daytime crowds. Both times were on weekdays, so there might be even more on weekends.
I'd love to go again if I get the chance.

It is made up of seniors everywhere and 3040s who love it. I liked the unpretentious skin touch. I was glad I worked out because if you work out a bit like I did, you seem to be popular. I enjoyed it even more because it was friendly and not glaring.

I went to Tomogun for the first time in 4 months to take a nap and to have the shower in the dormitory removed!
The last time I was here, I was given only a key and left alone at 350 TWD, but this time the price was raised to 400 TWD, which I couldn't understand what they said in Chinese!
I came to Tomokun because it was cheaper than Han shi, but if the price is the same as Han shi, it is meaningless. I think I will return to Han shi next time I come to Taiwan!
The old men are all skinny or have lost muscle mass and have flaccid skin!
If you like old men or just want to take a nap, it might be worth it, and if you're lucky, you might get a guy in his 30s or 40s!

Taiwanese middle-aged and older people are uniformly fat and bald, and I thought this place seemed to be a gathering of such a type, with no sexy middle-aged or older people.

Not so bad, not so bad!
I thought it might be for "orchestra" customers because of the high age range of the customers on the internet, but the age range was not that high!
Taiwanese try to put their partner's penis into their hole without a rubber, so be careful! Not too bad, not too bad!
