We visited on the GW of 2025.
We visited twice, once on a weekday and once on a weekend. On weekends, the majority of visitors were in their 20's and 30's. On weekends, there were just a lot of people. On weekends, there were a lot of people. I guess you could say that there were Koreans, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Thais mixed in with the Taiwanese. There were hardly any Caucasians.
There are private rooms, a passageway to go around the rooms, a large room separated by curtains (very dark), a room to watch TV, a smoking balcony, showers, a sauna, etc. The facilities are well equipped.
Those who want to have a good look at their partners stand in the corridor in front of the private rooms, but most of them seem to play in the large dark room just before going to the room with the TV.
Since it is very dark, the only thing you can tell is whether or not they like your body shape and cock, but they all move quite aggressively, so you are never bored. (When there are a lot of people)
Overall, I got the impression that this is an all-around development center for all ages, with a lot of short, stocky guys and not many obese, thin, or burly macho guys.
I think it is easy for anyone to go there because the focus is not narrowed down.
I thought about Soi13, but the foreigner price of 1,000 Taiwan dollars (4,800 yen at the current exchange rate) is indeed too high. I thought that Hanshi on the 8th floor of a department store conveniently located at the West Gate, which is less than half the price of Soi13, would be sufficient.
There are many young people who come to Han Shi, and it was a highly satisfying place for me.

These are my impressions as I have visited three times in the past.
The place is located in a large commercial complex in Ximending. It is a very bold place to have a development center in such a bold location, as one would expect in Taiwan.
As I recall, the place is only accessible by elevator, so I recommend going directly from the elevator on the first floor.
The structure is like a large single floor with showers, a sauna, a dark area, and several rest areas. There is also a karaoke room and a place to watch TV.
Overall, the facilities are clean. The only drawback is that the toilets are quite smelly... I saw a small litter in a locker once, so you might want to keep your bag closed...
The clientele is as you said, a few young people and a lot of middle-aged people in their 30s and 40s. There are some people who look like they work out here and there, but there are also a lot of normal-sized people and chubby people, giving the overall impression of all genres.
I visited on both weekdays and weekends, but I got the impression that the Saturday and Sunday were more exciting. However, I never came across a scene where the place was crowded with people, and I got the impression that it was relatively calm all the time.
It is easier to understand if you compare it with Soi: ....
Soi
The facility is huge (3 floors).
The clientele is mainly in their 20s and 30s.
There is a clear peak time and the rest of the time is deserted.
Incredible price of 1000 NTD for foreigners.
Chinese
One floor (but it's still much bigger than most Japanese bars)
The clientele is of all genres: some in their 20's, 30-40's, and a few old men (I imagine the main clientele to be normal, chubby, and bulky).
The place is not crowded during peak hours instead of having a constant crowd.
The price is reasonable at 400 NTD.
I guess I can roughly sum it up like this.
I like older and skinny guys, so I enjoyed Hanabi more,
If you like young and thin, there are not so many in Hanshi, so I think you should choose Soi.
By the way, most of the hattens in Taiwan are raw, so don't forget to prep...

It is not so bad that it is comfortable for all ages and body types, but the number of private rooms is very small compared to the number of lockers, so it is hard to take your time. On the other hand, in the dark sauna, there is a lot of clutter. I don't know if Taiwanese people prefer the darkness, or if they have too good an eye, or if they just want to get their feet wet, but anytime I go there, I am reminded of the sensory differences from Japan.

It is located in a 12-story commercial building with a Nakano Broadway-like atmosphere.
The man at the reception desk was kind and friendly, saying that of course it is fine if you are a foreigner.
There are a lot of people here, but are they all motivated? The atmosphere is like, "Are they all motivated?
The ratio of middle-aged and older people is rather high. I had the impression that there were not many young people.
The mist sauna was too dark and too hot for my dick to stand up.
The cruising zone has a wide aisle and is a bit difficult to approach.
The large room, which is not big, didn't seem to be very exciting, not great.
The toilets really smell like urine, but you get used to it and can tolerate it. The shower hose (but it is a common one in Southeast Asia) has very weak water pressure and is a bit rusty, so it would be better to finish it at the hotel beforehand.
In the end, I became friends with a chubby guy with glasses and we exchanged IGs, so it was a worthwhile time.

The age range here is very high.
I'm 33, and I wanted to fuck a guy my age or younger, and I wanted to fuck a big guy.
There was almost no one like that.

I didn't expect to find it on the 8th floor of a commercial building and got lost. The facility was clean and had a nice atmosphere. There are several dark and dimly lit rooms, several private rooms, and a shower enema hose in the bathroom. There were two showers and the familiar dark sauna.
The clientele is varied. The ages are also varied, so it seems unlikely that there is not a type for everyone.
In the dark room, I felt that the girls would develop from touching each other, but they would not be aggressive in other rooms.
If you are used to Japanese paid developmental halls, this may be a good place for you.

We went on a Saturday around 6pm.
I honestly would not recommend this place at all to anyone who expects to see 20-somethings, young pretty girls, or good looking guys.
I have been to about 4 gay saunas/development centers in Taipei and this is the bottom of the list.
I went there after reading other reviews and found that 60-70% of the customers were in their late 40's to 60's and only 10% were in their 20's or so.
Also, there were almost no people who work out, even if you take age out of the equation.

I went four times in the beginning of March, following last year. When I go late at night, there are almost no rooms. Well, it's not a hotel, so I don't really care about rooms or anything, but even if I could type or something, there is no place to do it. There are far fewer rooms. I don't think there were that many before, but maybe fewer this time. Just from what I remember, there are about 15-16?
There is a dark room in the back, but it is filled with the smell of rush and it is almost useless for me because it smells too bad and I don't like the smell. It's like everyone is going at it without a rubber.
There used to be 10 coupons for NT$2000, and I only used the coupons, but not anymore. I used to be able to stay for 16 hours, but now it's 12 hours (you can leave for 3 hours during the stay). (You can leave for 3 hours in the middle of your stay.)
Personally, I want a dry sauna.
With the ultimate depreciation of the yen, the exchange rate for the Taiwan dollar has gone from 3.5 yen to 4.6 yen (exchange rate). It's already hard.
I used to imagine I could get in for 16 hours for 700 yen.
I used to be able to use it as an alternative to a hotel because I could only travel in poverty. I think it is still cheaper for the average person compared to Japan.

I was there on 2/28. It is a national holiday in Taiwan.
We arrived around 9pm and I think there were about 50 people in the restaurant. The next day was also a Saturday and a vacation, so people were there until late.
The location is in a building with commercial facilities in Ximending, which is easily accessible. The entrance is not easy to find, but you can get there by elevator.
It was indeed a surprise to see the restaurant in such a place. I was surprised to find it in such a place. Here is a brief description of the restaurant.
Interior and structure
Overall, it is clean, but the structure is not so good.
The toilets are a little smelly, but not unbearable.
The towels in the showers are free to use. This was nice and unobtrusive.
The aisles are too wide, and the sauna and large room are too dark to see faces at all.
Clientele
Young people in their 20's and 30's and thin people are in the mass, and many of them are generally tight.
There are few people in their 40's and older, and no one in their 50's or older.
There are some so-called "gangly" people in their 30s and older who have both muscle and fat. But overall, there are not many. Bad luck.
Overall, they are reluctant.
The experience
First a shower and then a walk around the whole place. As others have written about this, the sauna adjacent to the showers is the most exciting part.
That's where you can do some light touching, squeezing, and sucking. The showers are reasonably well-lit, so it seems to be a common practice to approach the girls there after having a good look at them.
When I went there, I couldn't find anyone in the sauna area, so I moved to the dark area next to the brightly lit TV room.
There, I was mixed up with a group of people who were having an affair, and I was given a blowjob.
On the way there, I saw a guy who was very gangly, so I approached him, but he turned me down softly,
I made out with a gangly guy who was waiting to sleep at the same place. This guy was a late ejaculation + tuna, so we left after a while.
After that, we went to the maze in the back. I approached a guy who was good while doing some laps, but he also turned me down, so I left after an hour or so.
As a result, I was rejected by two people,
Both of them were very kind in their refusals (they tapped me on the arm to let me know their intentions), which increased my liking for Taiwanese people.
Next time, I would like to try a more crowded time (earlier in the day).

Personally, I was mildly shocked when I went there because I liked the atmosphere of the old Hanshi. The clientele is young and middle-aged aiming for that. The number of lockers is crazy. The dark area is literally pitch black and crowded in a small space.
