    This gay sauna occupies the entire 8th floor of the famous Wannian Commercial Building in the bustling Ximending shopping district. The escalator only goes up to the 4th floor, so the elevator is a must. I always take the rightmost elevator on the 1st floor, and usually the people I ride with get off on the same 8th floor. On the way down, if I ride with someone coming down from the movie theater floor on the upper floors, it gives off a knowing impression, which is a little awkward, but if I take the leftmost elevator, there seem to be fewer people and I can get down faster. I visited around 5 PM on Saturday, March 7th. There were a lot of people, young and old, of all body types, but I got the impression that most were around 40 years old. There is a maze-like darkroom, but there are only a few private rooms, so they fill up quickly. Therefore, if a private room is unavailable, people seem to be touching and masturbating in the dark room in the middle of the darkroom, or in the theater room or sauna. It was so crowded that there was a wait for the showers, so if you want to be sure to get off, I recommend going on a Saturday or Sunday. I'm an older man in my late 40s, but I was able to have sex with a cute girl in her 20s, so I think it's a sauna that even older men can go to without feeling intimidated.

    I went on a Saturday night. There were over 100 people. The age range was wide, with most being average to slightly overweight. Muscular types were only seen occasionally. There weren't any bodybuilders competing in competitions.

    It's located on the entire 8th floor of a commercial building, and you take the elevator. Be careful, the escalator only goes up to the 4th floor. After getting off the elevator, the reception is immediately to the right.

    It's incredibly large, and the darkroom is like a maze. The interior is white-ish and clean; it seems to be the largest cruising spot in Taiwan. The center of the darkroom is a large room where men are having a great time. The private rooms are also clean, and the staff cleans them regularly.

    The shower rooms are large, so there's no waiting. The sauna is dimly lit, allowing for unlimited touching. There are also two huge relaxation areas where locals are relaxing. Smoking is permitted on the balcony outside the darkroom. From the balcony, you can see the bustling West District.

    Even if you stay for a long time, people are constantly coming and going, so you won't get bored, and it's definitely worth the $400.

    I arrived in Taipei a little after 10 PM on my first visit.
    The reception staff were friendly, and I paid 400 to borrow a towel and key. Smaller towels are available for free.
    I went into the steam sauna, but I couldn't see anything!
    The darkroom was also quite dark, so I couldn't see the other person, but it was still pretty fun.

    I went to this kind of cruising spot for the first time out of curiosity, and it was fun because everyone was touching, licking, and licking each other, but they were quick to try to kiss me and their bushy beards were prickly and painful. But I might go again next time.

    I visited on a Sunday evening. It was quite busy. Compared to the XL I visited the day before, there were a lot of larger people overall, and the age range was a little older. However, there seemed to be a wide range of people, from young to senior.
    I'm a medium-sized, average-sized guy in my early 50s, and I'm neither a handsome man nor a handsome older man, but I still had a great time. I particularly enjoyed the spacious steam sauna. It's dark, but once your eyes adjust, you can see the faces and bodies of the people you're visiting. It's perfect for those who want to sample a variety of dishes in a short amount of time and like buffet-style food.
    One thing that bothers me is the steam sauna floor. It's slightly uneven, and it hurts, maybe because my soles are weak. But no one was wearing sandals either. So this time, I bought some flesh-colored foot pads on Amazon and brought them with me. It turned out to be "much better than nothing."

    I went on January 10.
    If you're looking for a gay cruising spot in Taipei, this might be the place to go.
    Most of the private rooms are full, so I wish they'd do something about it. I get the impression that they're often happy when they find out you're Japanese.

    I stayed for about three hours on a Saturday evening. There were a lot of customers, probably because it was the last day of work before the Lunar New Year.
    There were a lot of people milling around the private rooms, but hardly any who matched. Maybe it was difficult to move around because the corridors were too wide.
    They were starting in the dark area next to the room with the TV, regardless of who was there. There were some old men who looked like monsters among them, so if you touch their shoulders or upper arms and they seem thin, it's best to decline. *The old men are skinny and have no muscles.
    I agree with other people, this is the place to go for now.

    Sunday, January 11th, revisited. Crowded, but spacious enough that it doesn't feel overly packed. Took a shower, then got sucked off and fucked in the pitch-black steam sauna. Didn't see anyone doing it in the private rooms. There's a room with black curtains next to the food/drink area, completely dark inside, and people are in there. There's a raised platform-like space where you can lie down, and people are fucking there too. Asked the receptionist which wrist the top wears the key on, but they said either one is fine. Deciding on one would be better for those who want to go all out, though.

    12/31 Entered the restaurant at about 4pm.
    There are a lot of people as people come in and out of the place.
    When you enter the sauna, hands come out from all over the place, so if you don't care who you are, you can leave right away.
    I checked his face before I entered the sauna, and I thought he was a good guy, so I moved to the mist sauna and was attacked.
    I am in my early 50's, and I like big guys, but about 80% of them were thin to normal.
    I think it would be easier to take action if you had a look at the museum map on the wall before going to the lockers because it was pitch black and you could not see the internal structure of the building and sauna.

    I went there for the first time on 12/26 after 9pm.
    It was quite nice.
    Not overflowing with a lot of people, but there were a good amount of them.
    I felt like I was wasting my money paying too much for SOI13.
    I noticed at the end that the only place that was unusually lively was the area where you enter through the curtain next to the small space with the TV. Is that the area where they go all out with their partners?
    The degree of lewdness was different from the other areas.
    On the way home, I talked a little with a Taiwanese girl who shared the elevator with me.
    When I told her that I was going to Wulai tomorrow, she told me about a new development called 66.
