The barkeeper Takao is a tough-but-good looking guy who runs gay bar in Sumiyoshi. Not only Takao but other staff entertain guests with their nimble talk. A staff is also an active go-go dancer. Guests are mainly in their 20's to 40's. Rush Merry was relocated to a present place in December 2018. Free Karaoke available.

A gay bar in Sumiyoshi, mainly for those who are chubby, meaty, stocky and fat in their 30’s and 40’s. BROS. holds “Jockstrap and Leather” party on every 2nd Friday of the month (except April).
MUGEN

Gay bar in Sumiyoshi. MUGEN has club-like atmosphere with their stylish sound and illumination so young gay people especially in 20's and 30's love gathering around. They hold some gay parties and events every once in a while.
OVERALL

Located in Sumiyoshi, OVERALL is a gay bar where welcomes tourists and foreigners. Shining blue table is this bar's characteristic highlight. The manager, Daikichi is companionable and there are other staff who has a rich variety of character waiting for you to come.
DAIDAI

DAIDAI is a gay bar located in Sumiyoshi where guests with wide range of age groups gather around but mostly in their 20's through 40's . Manager, Daisaku, and characteristic staffs always welcome and entertain you. They sometimes hold their original events like a Bingo game party. They offer privileges like free bottles or free drinks to guests who hit the lucky number singing Karaoke.
Shichimencho

Shichimencho has 30 years of history running in Sumiyoshi district. Their guests are mostly over 30 years of age, so they create a mature atmosphere. This bar is known for one of most famous gay bar in Hakata.
Carats

A gay bar with relaxed atmosphere which has seats at only couter located in Sumiyoshi. The barkeeper Takashi is suave and gentle. The bar is named from the place where Takashi was born. Carats carry more than 40 kinds of whiskey as well as more than 10 kinds of Shochu (a Japanese spirit made from grains and vegetables), so guests who love drinking really enjoy the bar. They serve their original appetizer made by Takashi and you can order some food as well like pasta and curry.

Located in Sumiyoshi, SAFARI is a gay bar for men in their 30's and 40's mainly with a relaxed atmosphere. You can drop in as if you would come to a pub for a drink. Most of gay bars in this area offer Karaoke but this bar doesn't.
GORILLA BEATS

A cozy gay bar that opened in April 2019 in Sumiyoshi. Dominique and Ronnie both are bartenders of this bar which has L-shaped counter bar with atmosphere that makes single guest open up to bartenders and other guests. There is a 2nd floor where guests can have a drink at the table feeling like home. They don't have Karaoke so everyone enjoys talking each other.

Gay bar located in Haruyoshi whose manager is Kenji. He is from Kumamoto and really loves professional baseball. Guests are largely in their 30's and 40's, and some of them get carried away about baseball talking to Kenji. Seats are only at the bar and you can freely come by just by yourself, too.
